We were born and raised in Omaha, and it’s hard to imagine calling anywhere else home. Some of our earliest memories include feeding giraffes at the Henry Doorly Zoo with our parents, a tradition we’ve carried on with our own kids. We remember Friday nights spent at Rosenblatt Stadium, enjoying the lively crowds at the College World Series—an event that still brings energy and pride to the city every summer.
The sense of community we experienced growing up was unmatched. We fondly recall walking to Ted & Wally’s for ice cream in the Old Market, the cobblestones echoing beneath our feet, or gathering with neighbors for Memorial Park’s annual Fourth of July celebrations, complete with music, fireworks, and camaraderie.

Zorinsky Lake holds a special place in our hearts. Whether it’s evening walks along the trails or kayaking on the calm water, it’s a spot where we’ve created countless family memories. And, of course, no winter season is complete without a trip to the Holiday Lights Festival downtown—a tradition that perfectly captures the warmth and togetherness of Omaha.
